Treebates

Trees are an important part of our green storm water infrastructure. They absorb rain, prevent erosion, clean the air and shade our neighborhoods. As an incentive to homeowners, some cities have been offering “Treebates”. You can receive a credit on your sewer/stormwater/water utility bill for planting a tree in your yard or garden.

We haven’t yet negotiated the details for Treebates in Urban Unincorporated Washington County, but we’re working on it! Stay tuned - or help us make it a reality here.
